Measured Insurance, a cyber-focused MGA bridging the gap between technology and insurance, is excited to announce Steve Anderson has joined the executive team as the Chief Underwriting Officer. Steve has been a visionary, thought leader, and national speaker in the cyber insurance market for almost 20 years and brings with him a wealth of experience from large, well-respected insurance carriers, including QBE, AXA XL, RLI, and Travelers.
An innovative, forward-thinking technology and industry expert, Steve has spent years evaluating complex technology risks for the largest and most sophisticated insurers in the world. His expertise and vision have proven invaluable in his collaborative approach with clients, third-party vendors, and product experts as he has helped bring to market innovative solutions for cyber insurance.
In his first sixty days as Measured’s Chief Underwriting Officer, Steve plans to launch Measured’s cyber insurance product, establish tight working relationships with wholesale and retail brokers, and leverage Measured’s cyber insurance platform to ensure an industry leading product for brokers and insureds.

At his most recent stop, Steve oversaw performance, management, maintenance and governance of the cyber liability book of business for QBE North America. In conjunction with the Chief Underwriting Officer, Steve prioritized new product ideas based on needs sourced from the business units within QBE NA. In addition to his North American role, Steve worked with global QBE product leaders by collaboratively reviewing organizational performance and sharing best practices to develop strategic vision for effective global product initiatives.
Steve is a Registered Professional Liability Underwriter (RPLU) since 2006 and became an RPLU+ in 2014. Steve is also a Certified Cisco Network Associate (CCNA). Steve holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Baylor University.
